A research report and poster presentation for a capstone research course.
This thesis examined the effects of rumination and language on belief in pseudoscientific claims. More specifically, our group conducted a 2x2 factorial experiment to determine if horoscope claims were more believable or actionable if they had positive or negative predictions. 234 participants participated in a Qualtrics survey. I personally cleaned the data, analyzed it using JASP software, and created a poster presentation in Canva.
